Tenface is a contemporary and modern decorated Boutique Hotel in the heart of Bangkok in Sukhumvit District.

There are four types of room spread over 8 floors: one bedroom suite (61sqm), two bedroom suite (110sqm), two bedroom premier suite (125sqm) and Tenface suites (142sqm). All rooms have private balconies, separate lounges and fully equipped kitchen areas. Two bedroom premier suites and Tenface suites have dining areas.
Our Review
Well, on the paper and looking at the photos, the hotel looks attractive and we were really happy to spend our last 3 nights in Bangkok there. This happy impression immediately fade away when we arrived at the check in, the staff was really cold, fake smiling and we had the strong impression to disturb them. Anyway we are pretty easy going couple and we decide to forget about this bad impression.
The room is quite spacious (61 sq.) but the decoration and furniture is looking old and cheap. The bathroom is really tiny for such a big room without any decoration and looks like a standard 2 star chain hotel. The bedroom was ok. The room has a tiny long balcony and it was covered of dust from at least several days. One of the lamp on the bedside wasn't working and the room service arrived 15 mn later to change it. We actually started to feel uncomfortable and think that we've made a mistake booking this hotel.
We decide to go out. Note that the hotel is in the center of Bangkok but at the end of a lane and far from everything, you'll not enjoy a walk around, the closest 7/11 is 15 mn walk away. The hotel offer like many others hotels a free tuk-tuk service to take you to the closest BTS station. We wait a good 15 mn before the tuk tuk arrive and their staff shout at us loudly to come over. Grrr
We had a nice evening out and felt uncomfortable already to have to come back to the hotel.
Back in the room we noticed the constant noise of the elevated ring not far away from our balcony.Noisy but we fell asleep ...Then been woke up at 3 am by a cleaning truck . 3 staff talking loudly, splitting and throwing garbages during 2 hours right out our window...we complained to the reception they apologise and told us it's gonna stop soon ...yes only 2 hours later [Sob]
So we didn't got any sleep that night and where really pissed off, we called the reception and ask them to prepare our check out and we left right after our breakfast...(ok by the way)
After 15 years in Bangkok that was our worst hotel experience, surprisingly the reviews on Trip advisor are not bad at all...so we may had not very lucky on this one.

So why we'll never be back?
Overall the staff attitude was really not nice and we felt tense immediately on our arrival.
We didn't felt comfortable in the room, look like old and dirty.
We were far from everything and it's inconvenient for a city like Bangkok except if you have planned to rest at the hotel (if only you can rest ).
The swimming pool is really tiny and have only 4 seats (less than their picture)
They have only one Tuk Tuk so you have to wait.
Overall a bad experience and we recommend to stay away from this place, as there's so many good hotels in Bangkok with wonderful service!
